Project Area

Old Mount Holly Road is a busy route that provides key access to neighborhoods, businesses, industrial plants, and churches. The proposed road improvements will consist of widening Old Mount Holly Road from US 176 to US 52. The project will also evaluate replacing the bridge in this corridor that lies west of the Old Moncks Corner Highway intersection.

The project is part of Berkeley County’s Transportation Sales Tax program and is being developed in coordination with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT). The project team will also coordinate with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), as it has partial federal funding.
